Clone Drone In The Danger Zone Wiki

"Soon all the humans will be garbage!" - Analysis-Bot

Analysis-Bot is one of the robots in the duo that make up the commentators. Due to his small size (and lack of limbs), he sits on the table that Commentatron stands behind. As the name suggests, he will often analyze what the player is doing and the upcoming level, occasionally answering questions from Commentatron.

Appearance[]

Analysis-Bot's body is of a rectangular torso and a tall, also rectangular head, attached by a small neck. He has no limbs, but does have a mouth--the head moves upwards from the lower jaw when talking. The top of his head seems to have a short antenna of some sort. Despite a lack of limbs or visible means of doing so, he does possess the ability to rotate, jump, and shake around.

In terms of uniform, he wears a black coat with a white undershirt and green tie, along with what appears to be rectangular, hollow goggles around his eyes. His eyes are two green squares within those goggles. His black coat possesses two green lines on the bottom, sides, and (presumably) the back; it does not possess holes or sleeves for limbs, since he doesn't have them. His eyes and the rectangles on his suit glow when he speaks.

Personality[]

[to be changed by someone properly, since I cannot do describing personality traits well. Please do include the details of the following bullet points when rewriting this section.]

Analysis-Bot, like Commentatron, is very expressive; despite not having limbs, he often moves his head, rotates, shakes around, or even jumps while communicating. His comments and remarks indicate that he, unlike most other robots following orders from the Core Instruction, actually enjoy having humans die in the Danger Zone (even betting on how they might die with Commentatron). He shows excitement during these events, as he even makes sounds like "Boom" or "Schnick Schnick Schnick" to mimic the sounds in the arena, along with asking if he can enter the arena with a sword, similar to the Logistics-Bots that appear when he does so.

Furthermore, he seems to have various fascinations and interests; from "bots that are good at Analyzing things" like himself to the Spider-Tron models. He also takes an interest in poetry, as several of his lines follow some sort of rhyme scheme or mimic a pre-existing poetic statement (often followed by Commentatron applauding his poetic abilities). He also takes interests in knowing various facts about humans, as he often provides those to Commentatron between rounds.

Analysis-Bot does have backups, but he believes himself to be the "best version," showing some level of pride within himself. This is further shown when he announces the difficulty rank in Endless Mode instead of the Emperor, who then scolds him for doing so. Even with this pride, he occasionally considers getting himself arms; in particular, arms similar to Upgrade Bot's, and he would decide to wield a hammer with them.

Background/History[]

Before Clone Drone in the Danger Zone[]

The events that took place before Clone Drone in the Danger Zone are a mystery, and Analysis-Bot's origins are unknown. However, at some point he was created and started being used to comment on all combat in the Danger Zone alongside Commentatron. He watched large numbers of harvested humans fight in the arena, all of them dying at some point (with the exception of Emilia, who managed to escape). Early on, they likely tested humans still in their bodies, but cleaning up the blood proved to be difficult. They also tried bloodless humans, which failed miserably since humans needed blood to survive. Finally, they resorted to putting humans in robot bodies, with each robot's primary color based on the human's favorite.

The Danger Zone included a variety of challenges and modes, all of which Analysis-Bot was there to comment on. From a usual endless mode (where he sometimes announced the difficulty ranking before the Emperor and was promptly scolded) to upgrade-specific or opponent-specific challenges, to private duels between humans and even large arenas where humans fought to be the last one standing. In some cases, multiple humans would work together to take on endless mode or the challenges at once.

Chapter One[]

Analysis-Bot, along with Commentatron, introduce the next of many humans onto the battlefield, and watch it survive the first four rounds. On the fifth round, the Emperor arrives to watch over the arena in person, and Analysis-Bot becomes one of many to witness the harvest of the humans' Alpha Centauri Station outside their solar system, along with the introduction of the latest combat model, the Spider-Tron 5000. On the tenth round, Analysis-Bot witnesses the human escape the arena through the garbage tunnel (hacked open by Emilia).

Chapter Two[]

Analysis-Bot and Commentatron send in the next human, falsely claiming that the escaped human from Chapter One died in the garbage. Here, the Hammer Bots are introduced. After another ten rounds of combat, a second human to survive this long escapes via a hijacked Garbage Bot transporting it out of the Arena and to a hideout.

Chapter Three[]

Analysis-Bot does not appear in Chapter 3; however, the ending cutscene showcases a command center inside one of the Harvester Fleet ships showing four robots similar to him.

Chapter Four[]

Analysis-Bot can be briefly seen when the human diplomat is sent to the arena to "negotiate."

The four robots similar to him are revealed to be the ship officers, in order: Warfare, Mind Space, Infantry, and Logistics.

Chapter Five[]

No appearance, but other, identical ship officers mentioned above reappear.

Trivia[]

Dialogue[]

  • In one line, Commentatron asks Analysis-Bot about his relationship with Purple Shep. Analysis-Bot quickly responds with "I don't know Purple Shep! We are not best friends!”
    • However, in another line, when Commentatron asks him about Purple Shep, he replies that they share the same voice modulator.
  • In addition to the Spider-Trons, it is also noted that he likes the Jetpack Bots, most notably the Sword ones.
  • In one quote he says that "[he likes] robots that are good at Analyzing things!", implying that he also likes Logistics-Bot. In another quote, he requests to be sent to the arena with a sword when Logistics Bots enter the arena, but is denied by Commentatron, who states that he is needed as a commentator.
  • Analysis-Bot thinks that the "Mark 1 [robots*] are cute."
  • In multiple lines of dialogue, he tends to mispronounce "Commentatron's" name, by emphazising the "A" between "Comment" and "tron" and weakening the "o" in "tron."

*Need to check.

Non-dialogue[]

  • Analysis-Bot uses the same voice as the YouTube personality Purple Shep.
    • The same voice is also used in SMG4's Bob Bobowski.
  • Analysis-Bot Is one of the three main bots that can speak, the other two being Commentatron and the Emperor.
  • Analysis-Bot is the only bot with a stock voice.
  • The Harvester ship officers had emergency combat modes, which included flight, flamethrowers, shooting arrows from their mouths, charging at the player, and sword wielding (although they needed to use their mouths to do so). It is unknown if Analysis-Bot has these abilities as well.
