Clone Drone In The Danger Zone Wiki

Mind Space-Bot is one of four Command-Bots that operate various Harvesting Fleet battlecruisers under their respective Fleet Captains, alongside Warfare-Bot, Infantry-Bot, and Logistics-bot.

Appearance[]

He is the same model as Analysis-Bot, and thus has no limbs at all, a cube-ish torso, and a tall grey head. They wear a black and blue military uniform and a dark visor revealing one blue eye. They also have two antenna-like components on the sides of their head.

Background/History[]

Attack of the Enemy Zombies (Challenge)[]

The Fleet Captain of Research Base Alpha-0 orders all combat units to gather to Research Bay 1 to be upgraded by mysterious Alien Crystals. A Mind-Space Bot advises not to upgrade them all at once due to safety protocols, but the Captain insists to do the upgrade immediately, as the Crystals have a structure similar to their own computing architecture. The Mind-Space Bot goes with the order and exits.

Chapters 1-2[]

No appearance (except for possibly Insanity Difficulty), but a similar bot, Analysis-Bot, acts as one of the Commentators for the Danger Zone.

Chapter 3[]

A Mind Space-Bot briefly appears in the ending cutscene, in the control room of Harvesting Fleet Battlecruiser D-48 (the one the first human boards) with three other Command-Bots and a Fleet Captain.

Chapter 4[]

After the human uploads their mind into Spear unit e225, Mind Space-Bot notices it appears different in the mind network, and realizes it's the human. He helps the Fleet Captain track down the human as they progress, but temporarily lose track after they reach a checkpoint. The human eventually makes it to the control room, where he and the other Command-Bots watch the Fleet Captain take on the human. They enter emergency combat mode upon her defeat and engage the human, but are also destroyed, allowing the human to gain control of the Battlecruiser.

Personality/Behavior[]

Due to his name and dialogue, it can be assumed that his role is to control and manipulate the ship’s Mind-Space, using it to locate the player, control aspects of the ship, and command the robots. He also appears to be an operator of the ship's army. Upon entering emergency combat mode, they are revealed to be capable of flight and follow a specific attack pattern.

Throughout a fight against a Mind-Space Bot, they try to keep their distance and fire a barrage of arrows at the player from their mouth, each arrow rotating to a horizontal position as he takes aim. On occasion, he does a spinning charge at the player, potentially knocking them over. He also periodically falls back, spewing flames at the player.

Tactics[]

Mind Space-Bot is very agile and a small target, so it is not recommended to use a bow or a spear. A fully-upgraded sword, while useful in potentially dealing damage intensified greatly by fire, has its drawbacks; deflecting arrows and targeting them at him won't work, as he is constantly moving. A hammer would be much more recommended to take him on.

Trivia[]

  • In Twitch Mode and the Level Editor, Mind Space-Bot appears as "FleetAnalysisBot2".
