On the Xbox version (and maybe other versions), if their dialogue starts or (in some cases) is triggered before the player pauses, their dialogue will play uninterrupted in the pause menu. However, while the text for it pops up, it never expands to normal size.
- Even if their dialogue doesn't start, if the player pauses right after the elevator stops at the bottom, they will still speak.
  - This does not apply if their booth's forcefield is hit or after winning a round.
